Oxygène: “6-part epic” review by The vinyl review (2013)

Released in 1977 on Polydor Records (2310 555), Oxygene cemented Jarre’s place at the top of the electronic scene. Probably the most famous of the tracks is Oxygene Part IV, everyone’s heard it – even if they’re unaware it’s Jarre. It’s a bit like how people say they’ve not heard anything by Tangerine Dream but they’ve heard the theme from Streethawk. Read more…
