Gary Numan and Jean Michel Jarre have told Q they are working together on a new project.

The Frenchman was on hand at yesterday’s (19 October) Q Awards In Association With Absolute Radio to hand over the baton as he presented Numan with the Q Innovation in Sound, presented by Sony Xperia award – the honour he won last year.

And speaking together backstage, the pair explained in a video interview you can watch below they have a new, joint project in the works.

“We’ve been spending a lot of time together over the last year, Jean Michel been to my house three times now, so we had quite a lot of chats about a few things,” explains Numan.

“It’s a very special collaboration to me,” adds Jarre, who added the joint work it will be released next year. Read more
